Without turning your holiday into a mission, you can take part in real conservation activities and contribute to the protection of Mediterranean marine life.

Your path to action

Step 1 — Learn

Start by understanding the marine environment.
Programs like Underwater Naturalist, Fish Identification or Coral Conservation help you see—and truly recognise—what surrounds you.

Step 2 — Get involved

With the PADI/DAN Research Diver program, you’ll learn simple scientific methods and actively participate in citizen science during your dives.
(Snorkellers can join through dedicated programs too.)
