Low Season RIB Diving
Off-Season Diving in Ustica. Experience the island’s quiet side — and dive beyond the season.
In Sicily, diving usually follows the summer months (May–October).
But in Ustica, with Mare Nostrum Diving, the season stretches much further — because we live here, and we dive here.
Why dive off-season
The island slows down.
Fewer people, more space, a different rhythm. What feels busy in summer becomes open and authentic, and you experience Ustica more like a local than a visitor.
Underwater, the encounters change:
Spring — lobsters, shrimps, cuttlefish and octopus
Autumn — passing schools, including tuna and pelagic life
Dive routine
Dives are organised as single trips by boat, usually in the morning.
Between dives, you return to land for a relaxed surface interval, a snack, and tank refill.
Your equipment stays on board — more time to dive, less time handling gear.
What we offer
The boat
Our inflatable boat is set up for divers:- solid ladder, tank rack, shaded area — simple, functional and comfortable.
- Groups are small (max. 6 divers per guide), often even smaller in low season.
- Which means more space, more time, and a more personal experience.
Why it’s different
Off-season diving is not just about diving outside summer.
It’s about experiencing Ustica in a quieter, more authentic way — above and below the surface.
Dive when the island slows down — and discover a different Ustica.
